INTRODUCTION:
In order to protect staff members and those in our care every worker should have this level of training. Recognizing the key stages in the build up to violent or aggressive behaviour is central to avoiding conflict. Candidates will learn how to protect themselves and others through practical assessment and observation. Understanding the stages people go through prior to aggressive behaviour will help to elevate any tension or anxiety at an early stage.

- Conflict resolution and de-escalation

- Legislation and reasonable force, Health and Safety and Duty of Care
