Ethics and Professional Boundaries

INTRODUCTION:

This course aims to set out not only the professional behaviour that all social care staff need to adopt to become productive effective workers, but to deliver the key principles that underping working relationships and care for others that will be delivered with integrity.

A challenging course that looks at customer's values and beliefs and explores the thinking and ethics of those who attend.

COURSE OUTLINE:

  • Concepts of professionalism
  • The worker and their boundaries
  • How boundaries can blur and how to gain clarity
  • The benefits of clear boundaries
  • The damage caused by lack of clarity

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Appropriate clothing/footwear must be worn for practical sessions (see below)

  • full covered flat shoe
  • Clothing should be easy to move about in

Anyone who attends and is not wearing suitable Footwear and clothing will not be allowed to participate in the training session

All students must provide their own writing material and paper

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:

We aim to provide a flexible approach to training for our customers, please read our booking terms & conditions detailed below.

  • Students that fail to attend a course will be invoiced at the full course rate
  • Cancellations giving 7 days notice from date of training, no charge
  • Cancellations giving less than 7 days notice, full course fees charged
  • Cancellations on the day or none attendance on the day a re-booking fee of £25 charged
  • Discounts are only applicable if invoice is paid in full within 30 days of invoicing
  • Students arriving 30 mins after course commencement will be classed as a non attendance and re-booking fee will apply
  • Invoices paid within 30 days
