INTRODUCTION:
Any Manager or senior worker with a responsibility for supervising staff and meeting the organisations policy on infection control, all those who maintain systems designed to prevent infection and the spread of infection in order to comply with the law and the regulating authorities expectations.

- Defining the manager/senior role
- Highlight the current legislation, regulatory requirement inc: NICE
- How to manage and outbreak
- Identify common risks and how to minimise risk and cross contamination
- Building quality preventative measures
- Demonstrate how policy supports practice and prevention
